Description: This is an infamous skirted thermostat. When I got my Brave, one of the first things I wanted to do was flush the radiatior and replace the thermostat. I kept reading about the 'Skirted' Thermostat. I went to a few different parts stores and knowbody knew what I was talking about or asking for. So, I decided to take the housing off and see for myself. Here it is compared to a traditional thermostat. Very different indeed. I couldn't readily find a new one so I tested the old one and it still works.
