Will these IH rims fit my m500 chassis?

A friend has a motorhome with an IHC 1510 chassis that uses 17" wheels. I have the Dodge M500 with 19.5 wheels.


Will the smaller wheels fit or not enough clearance for the brakes?


If they would fit what size tire would I need? I have 8R19.5's currently

I wouldn't use those wheels if they were free. Stay with your 19.5 wheels, they are much better. You will have a very hard time finding anybody to do tire repair on those type wheels anymore. They are very dangerous, that's why they don't make them anymore in spite of what some may say.

They are free. I didn't realize until after reading your post that they are split ring 2 piece wheels. I've had bad luck there in the past.
