Adding a RPM guage 95 454 TBI

I have added numerous tachs to older vehicles, but not to new ones with out a "traditional" coil.

What is the procedure for getting the signal from the coil.

There is a tachometer connection on the cap of the HEI ignition that is unused. You just tap into that, it is even marked on the cap next to the ignition wires.
