I've searched the entire forum and found those of us using paint scrappers and heated filet knifes to remove the foam-board from interiors for replacement/repair.  Has anyone found a chemical solution for large areas?  I may try a squirt gun full of a type of alcohol or mild acid.  Any ideas?  Has anyone tried acetone?

Acetone dissolves Poly Styrene Foam. (WARNING) Highly Volatile, And NOT Recommended.  Due to VOC's  & Extreme Flammability.

LPS dissolves styrofoam. But again, not recommended due to fumes, etc as above.
