I just wanted to take a minute and thank all the wonderful and knowledgable people on this board.
I was able to get my 1988 winnebago chieftain 22 to pass safety and emissions today in large part thanks to the posts and manuals I found here. It's been a long 6 month rebuild but I now know my Winnie inside and out and understand how everything works.
When I started it had sat for 10+ years and my friends alcoholic brother had lived and died in it. It was in need of serious TLC and a total interior gutting.
Mechanically everything in the coach and chassis is now sound and working...the interior is about 75% done but it's usable.
I will be posting some guides that I put togeather that I wish had existed when I was working on it.
Thanks again.
