Replacement Parking brake cable for 1988 P30

Wanted to order a new parking brake cable - but there is conflicting information regarding the right length.

So I disassembled the cable from the brackets and measured it - 102 inch... This refers actually to 1985-1987 motorhome P30!

My local parts store had to order it and wanted 47$... On Ebay you can order one made in USA for 26$ incl. shipping.

My cable was just stucked, at the rear bracket, there was an sharp angle to the drum cable and this killed the cable sleeves -
no movement in either direction... The cable to cable connection was just 2 winding's from nut to screw together - scary. I park
often on a very steep slope and use the parking brake often...

I will report back how it worked out when it arrived and installed it...
