Hi all, I just purchased an amazing relic a 1972 Winnebago Chieftain that was amazing preserved.
Anyways, I have been calling around places to find a new starter for this old girl.

For what I know she has the Dodge 413 V8 Engine.
Has anyone found a replacement starter from an oreillys, AutoZone or napa auto parts store?

It takes the same starter as a Dodge 440 of a similar year.  They have them at all the auto parts stores.  They even make lighter starters for them now that have more torque, but draw less amps.  https://www.oreillyauto.com/shop/b/charging---starting-16772/starter-11798/dad3c6651e74/1972/dodge/d300-pickup-rwd?q=starter

Glad they do make lighter ones!
When I replaced mine, I bought a heavy duty one and it was definitely... heavy!
