I just heard back from one of our Northwest members that I call "Mr Winnebago".  Here is what he gave me.

Prices? Funny you should ask. I do have some factory stats.
These prices are rough ranges because of the many options and are hard to nail down because of factory and dealer numbers.

1972
Brave D18 $6795
Chieftain D28II $20,150

1973
D18 Brave $6995 (later in the year $7350)
Indian: $10,535+
Chieftains: $12,000+
The Chieftain D28II listed for exactly $20,985

And remember back then they also made:
travel trailers: $4700+
Truck Campers: $1200+
Pickup Caps: $300+

Of course if you attend one of our Northwest Jamboree's you can meet him and see his near perfect '73 Indian,  Les
