Just installed all new LED lights on the Winne.  All 18 of them.  They look great and are super bright.  I added some pics on my album.  Little spendy, but well worth it.  Brake lights are blinding.

I went with Bargman tail, stop, turn lights.  I ordered them from pplmotorhomes.com.  They had the best price at about $52 each.  That is with the back up lights.  For the marker lights, I used Grote 16 diode 4" by 2" surface mount lights.  The red is part number G4602 and the amber is G4603.  I found the reds on Ebay for $6 a piece and the ambers on Amazon for $7 a piece.  That is really cheap because the best price I could find locally was about $15 each.  I think they look great.

Also the tail lights are flush mount so I had to cut out the holes to counter sink them in.  It was easy and there is plenty of room behind them.  It makes it look so much better with them flush mounted.

And... not only are they much more visible, they last waaaaay longer than OEM filament bulbs, produce nearly no heat and have only a fraction of the current draw of OEM bulbs!

Dick Mahan installed LED lighting in his kitchen drawers for use at night, and, you can install really neat lighting strings under your cupboards or anywhere for additional lighting or mood lighting and not worry about draining your coach battery or overloading the system.

I am planning to flush mount some round leds on another rig and as advice to anyone doing this... two areas that may need to be addressed are an illuminated license plate and some lighted red rear markers.

Looks like I might just have to go with LEDs when I replace the marker lights on Excalibur.  Does the place you got them from on Ebay still have them on a regular basis, and if so, what was the seller's name?

Looks like the LEDs were in my future faster than I thought!  The tail light assemblies on Excalibur stuck out, and of course the ladder is right over the right/passenger side one.  Up to the roof I go to adjust the antenna...and CRUNCH!!!  I stepped on it, and the sun-rotted thing disintegrated into a million pieces!  Oi Vey!

So we decided to go with the recessed Bargman LED clusters...so while I was at it, I ordered 7 red LED marker lights (they sent me 8...lol), 7 amber LED marker lights, and new license plate bracket lit by LEDs (since the old license plate bracket was integral with the drivers side tail light cluster), 2 amber front LED signal lights (they match the rear Bargman lights perfectly), and even a new porch light, since the one we have is missing its cover, and it is impossible to find a new one...no one makes them anymore...the new porch light is an oval recessed VERY bright 14 white LED fixture...sweet!

A new Winegard amplified roof antenna is also on its way...one we can adjust from the inside...lol!

Just to be cool like all you guys  Cool, I followed the leader and went LEDs as well.   Now if I can just figure out where the leader is taking me, I'd feel a bit more safe.

My clearance lights were in pretty bad shape and was a constant struggle to keep them lit.    Keeping things on the cheap, I ordered 9 standard oval LED clearance lights for the front, 5 red "dual" mode oval clearance for the back and 2 normal red clearance for the top side rear corners.    The red dual mode lights have a third wire that makes them bright, I figured I might tie them into the brake switch for added coolness.    Cool Cool   My flasher is also electronic and LED friendly, plus it chirps to alert you that you have you turn signal on.

My rig had round clearance lights, but round "surface" mount LED clearance lights proved to be too much for my pockets, so oval is going to be hip this year.    And for taillights, my winnie had standard boxy tailights, and I ordered 7" round bus lights.    Those came in the mail today, I'll upload pics!

Question, do you have to run an unified ground wire with the LEDs or are they self-grounding?  All the ones I've seen have ground wires, which, I believe, is better anyway.

ok if the lite is self grounding you will see where the screwhole is a metal pice and if it is wire grounded the screwhole will have no metal and mostly it is betta to be wire grounded but be sure to solder and use heat shrink tubing for the connections
