How do you open the water tank filler ?

How do you open the water tank filler? The one on my Brave is really weathered and I don't want to break it when I try to open it. Does it spin off or lift up

If its like my 72 brave it spins off. mine is weathered too, if you are careful you can get it off with a pipe wrench.

After trying to twist it and cracking it, I found out that it pulls out.
