Average distance for shore power hookups?

If I may ask, (Haven't gone RV'ing sites yet) but what is the average hookup distance are the connections from the motorhome? Any help with hints, I will appreciate. You may also contact me with info at my e-mail ronbrobst  (AT) yahoo DOTcom, Leland, NC  Thanks all!

Obviously, the distance can vary, depending on the campsite layout.  I've been as close as 3' and once, I was about 30' from a receptacle which served 4 sites.  But, most often, you can estimate about 5' to 10'.

Thank You for this information on the shore line distance. I was wondering because I just read a RV blog that said they advise to carry an additional 25' cable to what your motorhome normally has.
