Well gang looks like we're looking to replace our Coleman in our 75 bago. Anybody done a replacement or retro fit. Open to suggestions.  Hm?

On one of my numerous entries, way back when, I told about replacing an old Coleman that had seen better centuries with a Suburban NT30SP.  The list price on those is $797, but you can find them cheaper here and there.

It DID require modification--which I did badly, but it works.  The old Coleman was a side-by-side vent/fresh air type.  The Suburban was an over-and-under type.  It doesn't look very pretty, since I'm no metalsmith, and I had to do the work with the aluminum where the vents go, but it works great.  Once I finally figured out what I was doing and put in new vent lines through the Alfabago (the old ones were falling apart), it fired right up, and I have had no problems since.  And I use it daily, too.  A couple of hours every evening I go out to the trailer and watch foreign news on my Roku.  Toasty.
