The leak is coming from some unidentified part bolted to the frame just outside of the tank.  This is a single-tank model with the tank in the rear.  The device has an allen key nut and a larger hex nut sort of like it is adjustable.  Anyone know what the thing is?

You have an in-tank fuel pump.  It is a fuel regulator.   Download this manual (http://www.bdub.net/manuals/P30/P30.pdf 19.3MB) and go to pdf page 135.  Picture of your system is on pdf page 139 with a description in the Note at the bottom of pdf page 136.

Thanx VERY much for the download.  It took me a while to get to it and what did I find - it apparently only leaks when the motor is hot and just shut off - sort of like the line from the reg to the motor is draining its gas.  I didn't see anything that looked unusual other than it looks like a bit of a booger to get the regulator removed.  With the switch on I do not hear a hum like the in-tank electric fuel pump is running.  Maybe that explains the very hard starting when the motor has sat long enough to cool.

So what I have been doing is raising the cowl and pouring a little gas in the carb. Starts right up and runs fine.

I will keep an eye on this.  I still do not understant where exactly the leak is coming from when I stop the motor and it sits for a few moments.  But I don't use the motorhome enough to justify dropping the fuel tank.
