hello;

does anyone know where i can get replacement slider clips for the privacy curtains and cab privacy for a '78 Winnebago Chieftain? they are plastic sliders that work on the factory rail system to close off the sleeping area, around the drivers area and when the upper bed above the drivers seat is lowered so people can't see in.

any help or websites would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

As I quick scanned those topics, I believe there were some options presented.  Let us know how you make out!

I'm sitting here amazed, shocked, and totally disoriented!  Mark used the dreaded "c" word!!

SHHHHH!  JD!  That "word" and all the files it opens are now locked in the government censored archives - like the alien stuff -  :)rotflmao

these are not the 'wheeled' style...they are plastic pieces with a hole in the center and (4) "arms" for the lack of a better term that slide on a rail...
i finally figured out what they were yesterday...they are a metal clip pressed onto the fabric and then pressed into the holes in the plastic...i have seen them somewhere...i think hobby lobby.

however if that fails, as a truckdriver, freightliners use a rail and slider system for cab curtains across the front windshield...many broken freightliners in my area and i believe one or two of those can be retrofitted amd made to work as well for just salvage yard prices...

i have tried the roller sliders and they do not work correctly...

i appreciate all replies...and sadly i have dial up only so can't open the catalog on the other website that was recommended...but i appreciate the link.

i have often times found out while working on this thing that retrofitting with outside parts from sources other than rv parts has been the norm, especially when i installed what is ususally used as a home bathroom electric tankless water heater in place of the factory water heater...much more room now, instant and never ending hot water, and now the propane only is used for the stove.
