Just how badly is it warped?  A very small amount of warpage (bowing of the floors) is pretty common, since everything "settles" over time and over many bumpy miles.

If its really bad, its a HUGE job to do it right.  You'll have to remove all the floor level cabinets and counters, all the furniture/seats, rugs, linoleum, etc, until the rig is an empty shell.  Then unscrew/unbolt the old plywood and install the new.  Then put all the cabinets etc. back in.  That's why this major undertaking is usually reserved for rotted and soft floors.

If its just a cosmetic thing, you can cut out and overlay thin plywood over the floor, after using a leveling compound, without removing the cabinets...makes the linoleum look a lot smoother.

We do have a lot of great info here from members who've done small repairs to complete replacement.  Just enter "floor" in the message search.

rar the floor is a plywood over styerfoam on a sheetmetal base Soft spots are usualy just compressed foam allowing the plywood to flex This happens in the highest traffic area like just inside doorway Replaceing just the wood will not change it Voice of experience ! Frank
