i have heard dodge engines are cold blooded . and i was just wondering if there is any truth to this. i know i have a dodge 360 and in cold weather , you have to let it reach operating temp before you drive it .otherwise it runs real rough and i do have a manual choke. but in the summer it runs great.

I'm sure you will get a slew of reasons why shortly but, yes... big blocks need to warm-up to operating temp in the winter or they will run very poorly until they do.   In a nutshell:  warm the engine up before taking off. - Sob
