We're looking into a 1977 23ft. Winnie Brave and were wondering what the weight is? Also, did they come with a 'cat' on the exhaust?

General specifications for the year model you are looking at are found under the Tech info & diagrams link of the Resource Links section here.  Look for the thread Specifications-Various Models 77-80 dtd 1/19/2004 6:30pm.  Open pdf file Specifications 1977 A-Body Motorhomes.pdf.

Far as I know, none of the Dodge based rigs had CAT systems.  Truck type chassis' were not required to have them during the 70's.

I have a 76 D23C  It list the curb weight at 9,200 and GVWR at 12,000 the brave may have a lighter curb weight than the chieftain depending on options . - as Dave said no cats on 77 dodge MH chassis only EGR - PCV-Fuel Evaporator canisters - Sea Hag
