So I took the skylight out of the shower today so that I could paint the shower and this is what I found.

The plexiglass above the skylight was broken when I bought it but I fixed that. So this is old damage, but I am wondering if there is an easy fix or should I just leave it unless I want to fix the whole roof?

That would likely be a hard repair to fix properly unless you totally removed the shower surround... and even then I am not sure it could all be fixed only from working from the interior. Since you'd have to remove the shower assembly anyways in order to repair it regardless, I'd remove that and then see if it may be possible to rebuild the ceiling structure from the inside.

one more picture.
And I should mention, there is NO mold and it is totally dry now.

What about spraying some 3m in there and then pressing it up in place till it stays?

The top of the shower does not touch the ceiling, there is a gap above the shower about 4in on the outside wall and about 6in on the inside edge where the shower door is. There are also electrical wires that run through that gap to the back bedroom.

they were smart enough to use cedar, so It wont mold. If the roof is not sagging there, I would fiberglass or pl premium it and wedge a sheet of plywood up in there for strength and  close it back up.
looks like you could clamp it real easy and let it dry for 2 days.
