Let her sit for 2 days, one pump on the pedal, turn the key and she starts right up. The new filter with the check valve makes it start so much quicker. Before it would take up to 10 seconds of cranking after sitting for more than a day.   :)clap

Don, what kind of shape is your carb in?  I'm concerned that your carb wells may be leaking, draining the carb overnight.  The carb should hold gas enough over that time period to fire the engine right up.  You obviously fixed problems before the carb, getting gas to it faster for a quicker start up.  I just wonder if there are lingering issues you may want to check out.

Tom, no gas smell in the oil. I change it once per year and we use the MH about one week per month for short (400mi or less RT) mileage runs to camp within AZ.
