Can anyone tell me where I can get parts inside the emergency brake drum on a 74' Indian with a 440 engine and a RM400  Dodge chasis......

Does your RV have the 'emergency' brake mounted on the end of the transmission? Both of my winnys have that arrangement. On oneof them the brake is in decent shape and working somewhat, but I had to get a new handbrake cable. The original one was siezed up, from running too close to the exhaust manifold and not being used for years at a time. If thats the type you have, let me know. I can think of two likely sources for parts -- Alretta Truck Parts in Mass. and an online seller of OEM mopar parts, dartman67-at-aol.com. It is also likely the guts inside the drum might be available from a decent truck brake specialist repauir shop. denison
