Is it an HWH Leveling System?

Assuming you have a hydraulic vs electric system, you could have someone operate the unit while you listen for the sound of the hydraulic pump motor.  Follow it to the source (reservoir will be with hydraulic pump)

Mine is in the battery compartment just behind the drivers door on the exterior. It's tight in there.

Find the exterior battery compartment door on the Driver side. Open it up and look to the right. It stays near the house battery because it pulls alot of amperage.

What's wrong Kev? It's ok to taunt us about having easy access to the top of the fuel tank?  :)rotflmao
All I have to say is, leveling is easier with the hydraulics  ;) . Just sayin.

Have you found all the operation and repair information you need?  The HWH 100 is a old system but there is still a lot of info available for it.  Some is somewhat piecemeal though so takes some digging.

I had that system that I installed in my Challenger a few years ago. I bought it used out of a wrecked coach. I sent the valve assy to HWH and they rebuilt it for me and only charged $95.00 plus parts. I thought that great. They were still working great when I sold the coach earlier this year. Just bought a 3130 Daybreak, haven't picked it up yet, but it has the joystick system in it.

bluebird, do they go from horiz to vertical and then extend or do I have to bring them to vertical by hand first

BooHoo, I have the same jacks on my RV, the "only" issue I had with mine, were the springs, a few broken ones, HWH have the replacements

They go from vert to horz before they extend. If they don't the jack could have a valve problem.
I extend mine a little bit at a time. Both front then both rear. Mine had a level light in the center of the plate that would come on when level. Be careful when using them, if you get the coach too far up on one side in the front, you could break your windshield. That's why I use them a bit at a time. I just bought a coach that has the joy stick system, don't know how they work, haven't picked it up yet.

WARNING!
When you go to raise them it works off of the spring tension. The hydraulics do not pull them up. Sometimes the jack will not retract completely before raising up. And it will dent the slide out trays in the rear. True story!!! Always watch them when retracting.
