Advice for removing old silicone sealant/Reseal?

Hello All,


Looking to reseal between the outside skin and the corner/aluminum edges. The PO when nuts with the silicone. I am also looking at other areas to remove as i need to repaint the green stripes and lower band, and there is the same old silicone sealant around all the aluminum trip. YIKES! I know paint adhesion will be a issue if i dont figure this out.
