Problem with clearance light replacement. 3 are not working sockets are corroded away. Cannot find anything that matches perfectly and original are no longer availiable. Lens has bargman 61 and SAE-P2-85. The housing has no numbers anywhere. They are recessed and appx dim of housing is 4.45L x 2.0W x .875D. Screw spread is appx 2.790. Has anyone been able to find something that would work without too much modifying. Would like to go LED if possible. There is not a lot of room to seat. I can find plenty of 4 x 2 lights but does not give much to seat on. less than .100 per side. Thanks

Have you tried Mobility RV for replacements?

Thanks pvoth and OZ. This was a kind of hail Mary thing hoping someone had found something that matched up. That was the first place I looked was the Winnebago catalog.

Are actually 2.2 wide and mine are only 2 and they are a perfect fit. Plus no amber ones. I need the front ones. Back ones are attached to a flat surface so just bought some cheap ones to fix the 2 that were bad. I sent an email to mobility RV and they sent back that they are not manufactured any longer and would have to find something that would work. They suggested 2 parts that would not work. I ended up just hard soldering the bulbs just to get past safety but have had another problem pop up with short or issue with left rear brake light so more fun on the horizon. I will search everything I can to try to get it fixed on my own. Thanks

Forgot to mention I went to 3 Winnebago dealers, Napa, Hendersons bumper to bumper, Intermountain electric, and some other truck shop that was recommended that I already forgot the name of

I wanted to bring this up again since I found replacement lights for these recessed mountings. They are Maxxima LEDs and are DOT approved and are for Volvo and Freightliner trucks.

You will need to find a local dealer but I went through a local HALE trailer dealer and paid 8.65 each.

I have a .PDF showing all of the dimensions if anyone needs it but it is too large to post, I have tried several ways and every time I try I lose my entire post, I am not trying again!

I may have some what do you need red. I'm not sure if I have the wire contacts

Thanks, I ordered a complete set of LEDs. Mine all work, it is just that some work leaking in so if I was going to take them out to reseal them I wanted to replace with LED's. These were apparently very hard to find new in this size. I know I had a hell of a time finding them.

Thanks for the link, Rick. They are very hard to find in this size for a recess. LED is a bonus and price you paid is very good, especially coming with the connector. Mine, not sure if it is typical, has recessed on the front cap only. Rear and of course sides are surface mount.

PPL in Texas has the rear red clearance light assemblies, OEM so the screw and wire holes match, bought 5 for $2 something apiece

Yes, the side and rear surface mount are a common stocked item. It is the front recessed that are difficult to locate.

Here are my recessed lights.
The back ones are hard to see, I don't have a straight on shot.
