Jack stands

I need to get my RV up and off the ground for an extended period so I can service the brake system and drop the fuel tank(unrelated project).


I don't trust metal Jack stands so I'm curious what you guys have built.

Then a bigger broader search of "cribbing",... and do a DANG through study!!!


Steel stands, wooden "cribs" or other support and structures doesn't matter much,... what matters most is your life!!! And it will certainly depend on your best choice and manner of support.

Definitely do a 'search'. There is a whole lot of info and suggestions here on site re your concerns.
