Hi all,
It's been a while but happy 4th July to everyone.
To business.
The actuator on my autopark has a slight weep so I've totally removed the autopark system from under the coach. It now gathers dust on a shelf in my workshop.
I have a foot operated park brake and would like to add a warning light....or idiot light for me W%  and I've found a website for somebody that did the very same, however I'm at a loss to understand the schematic.
If some of you more electrickery inspired types could possibly tell me what I'm looking at I would be extremely grateful.
I get the part of the diagram where the relay coils are but I'm particularly stuck with a part of the diagram that has an "A" in a circle....after the fuse on the constant 12v feed.
I'll post a link to the website below, the schematic lies therein...If somebody could help me out there's a beer in it for you. Just pop round, Preston, UK. They're in the fridge cooling as we speak.
Many thanks in advance,
Pete.

Relays K2 and K3 require a power source (brake light switch orange wire).  The circled A just represents that all of those points are connected together.

Cheers Dave, that's great.
Much appreciate you allowing the link to another page, Cheers.

WOW! I can get what he is doing but it is way more complicated then what you are looking for isn't it. I believe all you are looking for is a warning light to tell you thee parking brake is on. Most of those brake setups have a switch on them for just that reason. It is a very simple affair. You have a light on the dash with power going to the light and then the wire comes out of the light and goes to the switch on the brake. When you apply the brake the switch grounds the wire and the light comes on and when you release the brake no graound and the light goes off. Put a one or two amp fuse in the line before the light so if anything shorts out the fuse blows before the magic smoke gets out.

Hi Rick, how's things, all good I hope.
Not quite, I'm wanting to put a warning light or buzzer in to remind me to press the foot operated parking brake when the Tranny is in park. Knowing me, I'll put in in Park, jump out then end up chasing her down the hill because I forgot to press the parking brake pedal lol. Bearing in mind that I've removed all the components of the Auto park. Luckily my rig has / had the dual system.
PS, the dash light works fine when the foot pedal is pressed.

Well, I don't know anything about the auto park system but doesn't that engage the brake when you put it in park? If so then even though you eliminated the brake part of it you still have the park in the transmission so as long as you put it in park it is going nowhere.

There's no pawl in the P30 transmission so select park and it fires up the autopark to apply the prop brake. They're prone to failure, mine was weeping fluid so I removed it. It relies on fluid pressure to hold the brake off so if it fails as they're notorious for doing then things can go bad in a hurry.

If I remember correctly, for th P30 chassis, the Autopark system (actuates brake drum on rear of transmission) and the removal of the parking pawl in the transmission started in 1991.

Autopark was also used on the John Deere Chassis.

WOW! I would be looking for an earlier Turbo 400 to be robbing the parking mechanism from. You don't even need a good donor transmission as long as the parking parts are good. And they usually are.
The military Humvee has the same setup with no park. Stupid idea on a modern vehicle.

Beyond me that Rick lol.  It's bad enough just having to work out a wiring diagram.

Nope, I'm happy with the good old fashioned foot operated jobbie.  Now then, where's that soldering iron.

Thats what I was talking about, eliminate the auto lock altogether and put in a regular transmission. You already have the transmission, all you need is the parking assembly in the tail end of it.
