Can anyone tell me if the 1973 Brave D20 came with a coolant overflow bottle? Mine does not have one. There is a hose that comes from the rad cap area and just goes to the ground. It looks original but... Anyone have pictures of theirs?

'73 would be the first year to use an overflow reservoir with a 16lb relief cap.  Prior to that was no reservoir and 7lb pressure release cap going into an vent tube, like you have.

Very possible the no reservoir/vent tube set up you have is original, since we know it was common to use chassis which were built at the end of the previous model year and couple them with coaches built in the following year and the whole RV titled in the following year as well.

You can just look at your chassis  data plate for date of manufacture.

So, you could go either way.

Oz you are correct. The plate states 8/72. So no tank is factory. Thanks
