Hm? I was wondering Home Depot yesterday looking for flooring for the bago and in the process ran across vinyl flooring. Looking at the vinyl wood flooring got to wondering Why wouldn't it work for Paneling on the walls? Anyone got any thoughts on this idea?

Hi LJ-TJ
I think the installation of vinyl flooring on the wall would frustrate you at no end.  It would be like hanging a very heavy piece of wallpaper with no seams.  You would need a fast drying glue so the vinyl flooring does not slide right back off your wall. It would also be difficult to eliminate air pockets that are surely going to occur between the vinyl and the wall.

Have you thought of using 4x8 sheets of plastic laminate? They come in many different wood grains and are used in commercial applications for restaurant and hospital cabinetry.  My favourite brand is Nevamar, but there are lots of others like, Arborite, Formica, and Wilsonart.
