Does it have 8 bolt hubs or 5 bolt hubs? If it has 8 bolt hubs it would be an M300, and the 413-1 engine was optional instead of the 318-3 engine. If you have 5 bolt hubs, it would be the M375 or M400 chassis (which amount to the same thing as far as I can tell), and the 413-1 engine always came in that chassis up through sometime later in 1973.
I believe the ignition coil would be the same for either the 318 or the 413 or the 440.
