Looking for a steering knuckle arm for 76 Brave

You need to tell us a little more; there are left & right Steering Arms, and I am assuming your Brave is on a Dodge chassis. And since the steering arm is such a reliable item, are you sure that is the part needed? The Steering Arms are both connected to the ends of the tie rod. The one on the passenger's side (the right side) has the tie rod connected to it, and fits into the steering knuckle via a tapered/keyed hole.
The steering arm on the driver's side (the left side) has the drag link connected to it as well as the tie rod, and either fits into a tapered/keyed hole in the knuckle, or bolts to it with two large bolts - depending on the chassis and year.
It would help if you could take a picture of the item and post it. Im not confident that all mechanics would know the part by the same name used in the dodge motor home chassis parts catalog. There are part numbers for the steering arms in the catalog, though they may have been superseded years ago.
I -think- the right side steering knuckle arm would be mopar # 1394146 for a 1975-77 M300 chassis, and for the left side (drivers side) would be mopar # 3632973 for a 1975 M300 chassis, and # 4030618 for a 1976-77 chassis.
It is common for a Winnebago to be titled as a 1976, even if the chassis was a 1975 production item. The parts catalogs go by the chassis production year, not the year that Winnebago finished building the coach on it. And if your chassis is really an M400 - then it would have different front axle, and different 'arm' part numbers.

Anyway, some sources....
* Any NAPA dealer who is willing to look into their hard copies. I doubt this part would be in their computer.
* Any parts outlet that supplies light trucks, such as delivery trucks.

For parts that are probably used:
* Arizona RV Salvage: www.azrvinc.com/ in Arizona.
*Colaw RV Salvage: www.colawrvsalvage.com in S.W. Missouri.

* Arrington's R.V.'s
P.O. Box 209

Tel: (256) 747-2222 Fax: (256) 474-4482
hours: M-F 8:30am-5:00pm CST
Directions:
From I-65- Exit 304 in Cullman, turn N onto Hwy 278 (towards Double Springs), go 23 miles to Addison, Al. , Look for old R.V.'s on the right before crossing a bridge.
Office is located in Addison, continue N on 278 2.5mi. to red light. Turn Left, go about 1 1/2-2mi. to R.V. Dealership on right.
He is not on the internet yet, - so his prices might be lower than the two very well know RV salvage places above.

A lot of junkyards might have the same part, on an old light truck chassis.

And of course you should look over the list of sources and resources on the "Resource Links" button on the left side of the Classic Winnebago site pages.

For the M400 its mopar # seems to be 3735344 in the parts catalog, and is listed as being the same part on the M400s from 72 through 77. The sources would be the same. Let us know where you find one.
