no running light and brake lights but had turn signals,  well they worked fine when I bought it  $@!#@!, break out the test light and WOW what mess of wires under the dash :)clap.   previous owner would spend a nickel to solve a dime problem , only to cause a quarters worth of problems later on.  N:(.  pulled the rear light housing off and re-grounded them and at least the turn signals brightened up and shone bright. what the hell is that toggle switch for on the dash????? works nothing I could find except when it was in the up position guess what  :)rotflmao :)rotflmao lights worked , guess he decided he needed a switch so he could "blink"  on the highway. there goes about 4 hours of my life I will not get back but what the heck I got lights now.   the dash is littered with gauges and switches and there are a few I do not know what they go to and will have to track them down someday.  I had to shake my head at this one and just be thankful I found it before really tearing into things.

The wiring, particularly the dash, is always an adventure, to say the least .
I have 3 toggle swithces and one, little, black button, I had to figure out.  One was a radio cut-off switch (apparently a popular cure radio battery drain when they were left on)...  "So, if I forget to turn off the radio, I'll just remember to turn off the cut-off switch! (?) .  Another was a replcement for the fuel tank selector.  That one took me while to figure out.  A third was for the wipers, and the button was for the windshield washer.

BTW, the "blink" switch you found... it was actually  standard equipment.  The PO didn't add that feature.

well the toggle switch I was referring to that allowed it to blink is a standard Toggle Switch , not the standard rocker switch that was factory .  You know the kind , a simple on off switch that has a plastic toggle you flip up or down, not even the deluxe model that lights up when it is powered.
