JC whitney SunPro fuel gauge needle shakes while driving.

I bought the jc whitney fuel sending unit. The universal dodge. Put the Sunpro gauge in. Works great at idle. When I drive down the road the needle shakes all over the place. Grounds?

I can't say this is an answer but, I've had various SunPro gauges over the years and some worked fine and others didn't.  I hope someone else can give a more definitive answer.
