How good are Gabriel shocks?

When I bought my Holiday Rambler it had these Gabriel spring assist shocks on the front.  I haven't heard or seen any discussion of Gabriel and wondered if anyone else have used these.  Mine are pretty well shot after 20 years and I plan on replacing them this spring with Monroes, but does anyone have any experience with Gabriels?

I've used Gabriel shocks on some old VWs, but I wouldn't use them on an RV.  They were great on the Bugs, but not heavy duty enough for a big P30 chassis. Those look like the coil overs we had on ours that were all shot, although ours were made by Trailblazer.

I've used  Gabriels on both of my class A MHs and they were very good.  Just make sure when you buy Gabriels you buy them for your application, just like any other shock. I bought my last set off of an e-bay vendor at 1/2 the store price, including shipping. It pays to shop but make sure you know what part numbers you need. RV shocks are NOT the same as truck shocks. Unless you want a ride like a truck. New air bags and shocks make a world of difference.

I didn't know Gabriel made heavy duty application shocks.  Just saying the only time I've used them was on VW bugs, and they were great on the bugs.
