Campground Membership Free for One Year?!?

I've been a "member" of KOA since 2001.  (Actually, I was a member before that, but I let it lapse.)  This year, due to having my 92-year-old mother with us, we went no where.  A quick trip to Conway, Ark., was it, and that was the last Mother could handle.  And we didn't get any camping in on that trip.

Anyway, I just sent a note to KOA about it, not complaining, but telling them that even though I hadn't used my card, I have NO intention of letting the membership lapse.

Got a nice email from them.  My membership has been extended for another year.  No cost.  Total shock to me!

AND, I didn't even tell them why I hadn't used the card this year, merely that I couldn't do so.

It's official!  My renewals are in August.  I received a new card showing my membership has been extended through October next year.  WOW!

I always ask for an free upgrade "ie" hotels and rental cars.....it never hurts to ask nice....rule #1 be nice....don't remind me of that if I post something not nice.
