Gear Box Chat Room Topics

The Gear Box chat room has always been a great, social feature of our community.  It's a place to get to know each other and have some fun too.  It's also been a life-saver for members who've broken down on the road and needed immediate help!

It's also natural for chat topics to revolve around our RVs and routine issues.  After all, this is an RV forum.   But remember, the Gear Box is a social place rather than a place to get answers to regular questions.  Getting answers to questions immediately is great, but think about the other people.  That's what the message boards are for.  Many of the questions which would come up in chat are the same ones others could benefit from as well. 

Of course, there are times when some members simply can't access the regular boards due to using mobile devices which don't present them with the options to post on the regular boards, or there may be a very time sensitive requirement to get help.  That's understandible and perfectly okay. 

Otherwise, if you start to discuss a topic relating to regular RV topics, please consider how it could help others and post it on the message boards too.
