What about the ebay link, I know the listing stops at '77 but wouldn't those also fit the '78?

i got them from ch topping a brake specialist here in long beach ca.  It took them a while to find them as well all the part numbers are old numbers including the bendix and napa.  The only one that are still good part number in the acdelco part numbers.  But those are also scarce.  the shop found me an old stock somewhere the ones i found on ebay  were rediculously priced at $115 for the pads and they were suposidly the chrysler part number 3744500 and they were organic

Glad you were able to find them ok however now I feel bad.  I of all people should have renembered that because Dodge originally defined the M400 chassis as RM350 and the M500 as RM400 that you should also use the M350 designation for part search.  That is the key in this case.   You still have do have to make sure it is the right part though.  Be sure to put that piece of info in your back pocket if you need any brake part that is listed as being used on the M400 through M600 range.
