this reminds me of the GMC small pick up that raced past me on 95S with a Harley in its bed.. thus back end was literally dragging.. a bit later he must have stopped for gas, came whizzing past again.. heard a "pop" smoke started pouring, oil spraying.. yea  engine toasted....

I watched with amazement once, as an early '80's Honda Accord 4dr came into Guntersville State Park pulling a 24' Holiday Rambler TT... I owned one once, and am still baffled as to what they attached the hitch too, the bumper supports attach to the trunk floor pan, which is nothing but stamped steel. There is no actual frame.
The trailer easily weighed as much as the Honda, if not almost double.
