I am rebuilding inside of my RV due to bad water damage. I removed some of the insulation and want to replace it. I know factory vacuum bonds everything. I was wondering what caulk I can put on to get Styrofoam stick to the outside wall. Unsure what material that is.

Are you using Styrofoam or high density foam insulation board/ Something like PL2000 construction adhesive will work but try some on a scrap piece first to make sure it does not melt it. Styrofoam does not get along with much of anything plus the R value is not as high. BUT, I am not an expert in the best insulation to use and for years I have been trying to get answers on that.

Have you got the styrofoam already ? I did use a polyurethane glue to get this stuff at walls.

I did work the last days with rigid insulation http://www.homedepot.com/p/GAF-0-75-in-x-4-ft-x-8-ft-EnergyGuard-PolyIsocyanurate-Sheathing-1S02/204322724?N=5yc1vZbaxx
this stuff is easier to work with, only a little more expensive and you can use any glue due to the Alu back.

Apart from this it has the higher R-Value.
