I'm trying to obtain some of the proper shade of touch up paint for the off white portion of a 93 W.Warrior.  The literature states that it is Dupont code #L8723.  This does not compute with the present day paint people. They say it doesn't exist in their computer.  This paint was used for a couple of years in the early '90's.  I called Winnebago Technical and they confirmed the stated dupont #.  They say their present aerosol  of off white is part # 041561-03-000. My question to them is this present day off white the same as the '90's off white or somewhat close which they couldn't answer.

I've tried quite a few off-whites and they are all to white or to dark.  I thought maybe someone has been through this before and can offer some guidance.

One paint supplier offered to "shoot" the paint with his shade meter if I drive the RV to his store which may be my only alternate.  Thanks for any replies.

I would go for the shade meter or a scanner of some sort...  then it can match the RGB values and a better match.   Don't know but you may try going to a Benjamin moore  sherwin williams or some other paint place to see if their data base can match the Dupont number to what they stock.

Graphically you may try to take a picture of the white in full sun light, put it on your computer and use a picture software like Corel photo paint or Adobe photo shop and the eye dropper tool to sample the color and it will tell you the RGB values... an actual paint store not a big box store should be able to match that....  be close anyway.  if this is too geeky for you email me a pix as stated from a camera not a phone.... mdcitrus@att.net subject CWVRV pix... and I can sample it for you....
