Do I need to coat entire roof?

We have an 84 Chieftain with aluminum roof.  I have sealed all seams and anything screwed to the roof.  Is it necessary to coat the whole roof with an elastomeric coating?

I have had my roof with bare aluminum for over 10 years. I re caulk it yearly and that's it.

Great!  Now in can get to the window rebuild and new toilet. :)
