I have a 73 M400 (RM350) Titan and I just bought double coin RT500 tires for it. The wheels are 17.5's. I know they're not split rims, but they're not welded all the way around either. My brother had them mounted and I told him to ask about this and they just told him that the tire said 'tubeless' on it and mounted them. I will try and post pictures tomorrow but was wondering if you guys might know off the top of your heads. Thanks in advance!

No, you do not need tubes on 17.5" rims.  They are tubeless.  Biggest concern is the rims were not originally designed for radial tires and they have a upper pressure limit of 95lb psi even though the tire sidewall may indicate the tire itself can hold higher pressures.  I have had one rim leak and had to replace it over the years.

Dave you've helped me more than you could ever know! Your website (and classicwinnebagos.com) have been invaluable since I bought this motorhome. Thank you for your help.

Your Welcome.  That's why it is all here and there.
