No doubt the forum members have replaced more than a few pumps, Can you point me at what worked well for you?

Looked at Surflo, WFCO, and Flojet.  Flojet comments seem to indicate a bit noisy.  Good reviews (and many) on a $70 Surflo.  Not too many reviews but vary favorable on the WFCO.

I also see 40psi and 60psi, is bigger better?

Thanks

I can't really recommend any particular brand but 40 lbs. is plenty. The more pressure the faster you go through your reserve of water when boondocking. Plus the higher the pressure the higher the chance of a leak somewhere.

Ran a surflo, 40psi.  Worked great and no problems with it.

Did you read the negative comments on this seller?  I wouldn't buy from him, but that is me personally.  I myself would stick with the shurflo products.  But that is me. i??

How was the noise level OZ?

Not bad at all.  Just a very low, barely noticeable hum when it runs.  And that's only if you were standing right by it (rear compartment, passenger corner, 1974 D24 Indian).  It was installed to replace the original pressurized system.

Thanks Joanfenn.  It's funny you should mention that.  I posted the link just as a reference to that pump, but had bought a new door for my 6 gallon Atwwood from them off of Amazon just two weeks ago.  They put it in a flatened box for shipping and taped the edges.  You can imaging what happened to a piece of tin going from one coast to another.

Thanks for the feedback Oz.  Work has me leaving for 8 straight work days in the Bay on Wed, morning so the water system will have to wait.  Would like to order something before I go.
