my 92 Sunflyer has a Jetco system installed, it wont auto level so I crawled underneath and found that there was only one rod connected to the axle- it looks pretty homemade to me and I was wondering if it is indeed factory, and where I can get new ones >?

The Jetco manuals are in the manuals section on here and I am pretty sure their phone number is there also. They do still sell the parts. Most of the parts are the same as truck stuff but matching it up can be tough. There is nothing on the system that looks like what you posed that is for sure.

I got a different manual from somewhere and it shows the rods as #342 here- I too dont think these are original, the rig came with a bunch of receipts from tire place where they seemed to have replaced a pile of stuff in the airbag system at least twice within the past two years- I may try to fab something up with threaded rod and heim joints to have it a bit longer lasting

The leveling valves are pretty much universal, they are just an open/close valve that is set by the rod. The distance from top to bottom of the bag should be 11", I set mine at 11.5 to level it with the front after installing new front springs. The air solenoids are delayed reaction types so they do not react as soon as the valve opens, there is a bit of a delay and they don't just dump air. That can get real intensive for the air compressor to keep up with. Not needed for this application either. I have not looked into cross reference for the solenoids, they have to be out there with the amount of air ride stuff in use nowadays. Again, look for delay reaction solenoids or else you will need multiple compressors and a huge alternator to power them. Or a engine driven compressor.

Yea, the picture in yours is a bit better than mine. The "rod" between the heim joints is actually a flat piece of steel with a couple of adjusting screws. I will see if I have any pictures from under there that show it. The only real adjustment is to slide the clamps around the axle.

I looked through all of my pics and I have none that show it but I can get under there and get a couple if you need them.

It may be good to get pics of an operating system, kind of hard to describe but there are two boxes with levers attached to the air solenoids, then there are two rods that go down to the axle, I have pictures of the boxes where the rods should attach to- problem is my rig is 90 minutes away and in a field, have to pack up all parts and tools to go fix, lucky is above zero again so I can lay on the ground

I am going o a car show tomorrow but if I get home before dark I will try to get some pictures. You have a rather mangled system there and the valves are different from mine but the principle is the same and once you see mine all together you will understand it easily.

Sorry it took so long, got involved with other projects and forgot to take the pics. Had to blow up the bags so I would fit under there. W%

Excellent, any idea how long those adjustable arms are ? Jetco may have the parts but shipping to Canada seems to be a no-go

Rickf1985

I will find out but it is adjustable by rotating the clamps on the axle so the length does not have to be perfect. I remember that your arms were pretty mangled too.

Any chance you did get a photo of this ? spring has finally arrived and I want to get this fixed before I start to procrastinate again

I thought I did way back when, Let me look through my pics. If not I will get under there again, I also have to get some stuff done.
