Hello From '84 Elandan Full-Timers
« on: February 06, 2019, 08:38 PM »
Hi all, just joined and wanted to introduce ourselves. We are a family of 5 who are soon to become full-timers. Our new home will be our 1984 Winnebago Elandan. She's 31' and is powered by the legendary Chevy 454, with petrol and LPG fuel. It's almost completely original inside and out aside from some minor modifications to the electrics, etc.

Looking forward to learning from others and sharing our knowledge and experiences on the way.

Welcome to our little nuthouse. I have never been to England but I do know a few people there and from what I understand the roads there are quite a bit narrower that over here in the states. I can't picture driving that monster there. I have basically the same one but I have the Chieftain in 31 foot. I have gotten myself into some rather tight spots. Then again I also tow a 24 foot trailer behind me that has a long tongue on it and I use a tow dolly to keep the weight off of the hitch. 62 feet overall. W%
