Leaking roof or not?

Hello to the round.

I wanted to ask how best to find out if the roof is leaking or not.
I'd appreciate any advice or tip!

Get on top with a hose and spray everything down, especially around roof vents, seams, AC, etc. That's how I found my leaks which I fixed with sealer tape, which wasn't cheap. But, it's dry inside now.

Do not take a hose and drain it directly into something like my in/out exhaust fan. Water will just pour right in. The cover keeps the rain out.  D:oH! I have seen it.
