Dash switches for batteries on 1985 Winnebago

My name is Glenn and I just got a 1985 Winnebago which has two toggle switches on the dash both for the batteries one is battery condition switch which has a main and aux position the other is a battery switch which has a dual and mom position now my question is which settings should I have them in while parked and connected to another generator for power and which position do I put them in while I'm driving I only have one battery installed currently but intend to purchase another asap
