Aluminum body work

I have been restoring a 83 Imperial,actually just bringing it back to operating condition. Being tired of mechanical work I am turning to body work, much more satisfying. With that being said can one use a Bondo  type of material to smooth out hammering imperfections. I have no experience with aluminum bodies and inquiring here to see if there is any hands on practical experience.

After looking and listening for awhile I will go with Marine Tex, it bonds like Steele and last forever...I was simply looking for a product easier  to work with...as in fairing it out.

Marine Tex.  Can you give an info link on that since it's a new-to-us product?

No problem, actually it really is structural expoy, but it can be molded and sanded much like Bondo. Easy to adhere to aluminum, once done it will never go away. It is very robust, it is also used in Quadra jets to seal the infamous plug leaks, boat hull you name it.
