Had the old "Sometimes the heater heats, sometimes blows cold air forever" problem last week.Opened front of heater inside,and traced the wires from  the ignitor to a harness plug.Plugged in and pulled off a couple times to reseat wires with a solid clean connection.Works like a charm.Another fine example of if it doesnt work,clean the wire connections or fuses,been my problem with various systems time and again on the old Winnie.

Hi!  BooBoo;
     I had the same prob with mine. It turned out to be bad contacts in the thermostat. There is an adjustment for the length of time the furnace runs or something like that. I found that by turning it around and back a few times cleaned the contacts enough to make the furnace to work the way it should. It was my last resort and turned out to be the cause of my prob. I was thinking of installing a digital thermostat.
Hope this helps you.

hey, howie
i changed my thermostat to a digital and it really works great. it is able to keep the temp. in the rig more accurate because it has a shorter temp. difference. i think its about 2 to 3 degrees instead of 5 or 6 in the old coleman thermostat. got it from target or wall mart. this was from a suggestion from booboo in a post. tried to find the post in message search but i think it was buried in some other thread. this is a very easy and cheap upgrade that makes a big diff. hope this helps alittle.

For those of you using a digital thermostat for the furnance, remember to bring extra batteries for it.  Already been burned once by them.

Dave,

Right you are about battery stocks.  I keep AT LEAST 15 AAA and AA,a lso several C and D batts,and a couple extra 6 volters too.  Nothing like batterry supplies when you really need em,been there,done that.
