Well I finally got this opened.  on drivers side right below the propane tank storage was a locked compartment that the keys would not open.  Well we finally go it opened and it seems to be a storage area.  Now I need to know if these locks are called "Key Twist Locks" or what the name is.  I do need to replace with some that the keys will fit.  Thanks as always for your help.  Also, I just got the generator tuned and shes runs finer that she did before the tune up.

Try your local winnebago dealer. Their catalog shows all the locks. Just take the lock in and they should be able to match it.

My 83 Brave had a different lock for every lock on the rig and a 10 pound keyring to go with it! I just went to my local RV shop, found a generic compartment lock by comparing legth and diameter (new locks attached with a large nut as opposed to the factory clip) and installed in the existing holes. After minor adjustment (had to slightly bend the lock tab on one or two), I now have ONE KEY that fits all compartments! Much cheaper than stock, about $2.00 per lock. Now my leyring has only three keys-ignition, door, and compartment. And all for under $20!

I too had a 20# keyring.  They are all keyed the same.

Here's something interesting... and scary about the old compartment locksets...

On my last trip to the Magic Junkyard, I had taken the keys to the Pharaoh's Chariot with me.  I needed a couple of locksets too and had noticed that the same key fit all the small storage compartment locks on the Pharaoh.

So, I came home with over a dozen locks from half a dozen rigs... all opened by the same key I use on my rig!  Very convenient... but very scary as well.

I certainly hope the new ones don't work that way!
