There I was just cruising facebook martket place and holy crap, 1995 Brave, $2500.

but it was 11:00p.m. and I thought, "if it's there tomorrow I'll see", well of course it wasn't, But the next day I was talking on the phone with a customer that has a towing business and it kinda went like this "hey i seen a great deal on a diesel pusher of facebook last night" and he replyed "ya i bet it's the same one i purchased last night", He didn't really want to keep it,just snagged a good deal, in the end i got it for $3500 DELIVERED, because it hadn't seen the light of day since 2006, but i had to help, it was in a barn on top of a hill, nonrunning, no brakes, original 1995 tires that needed air , but i was too scared to put much in them. Steps were out, one hyd jack was down, and the rats had used it for a condo.

but I think it was very clean inside considering they had left the engine cover propped up,

the owners used it for a guest house, and had never retitled it , It had been sold new in Alaska, and they had purchased it from the original owner in 2006 with intentions of using it, but never got around to it.

has all it's books, including this wiring diagram book, which came in very handy .

I've got lots more pictures, but it's getting late and i gotta let the dogs out

After getting it home and making it run, I had lucked out because it had a full tank of cherry flavored diesel fuel, and a full tank of propane,

I changed the exhaust manifold gaskets right off the bat, because i was right there and what better time.

didn't get any picts, but it got belt, tensioner, waterpump, ac belt, ac tensioner, all the trans cooler lines, that were rubber hyd hoses, heater hoses front and back.

then on to packing the wheel bearings, new brake pads, all the calipers and hoses, and one rotor, then the starter quit, only it didn't want to come off, so it got the air hammer treatment .

makes getting to the bolts much simpler,

at one time it even had solar on it,

they are still making voltage, but i dunno if they are putting out any amps, I really don't need them, but i'm not taking them off,

ancient controller

i replaced it with at Jungle store controller, It shows voltage, but i'm not hooking it up to the batteries.

Took the upholstery home to remove it from the cushions and boards, threw it in washing machine and they came out great

next was the wiring

Yes folks that's the 110 side going to the ac units,

this plug had about 8 wires and one side was chewed flush,

lucky i had that wiring book, and time to highlite the ones we couldn't find the code on, some were chewed off with only 2" from the roof,

some wires were missing a foot or so of wires, but we would find them later on somewhere else in the coach, plus several screwdrivers under the bathroom floor,

that's it for tonight, next we'll tackle the drooping ceiling.....

What is the story with the ceiling?? Seems every Winne needs help with that
The best mechanic is the one that can make it run with the least amount of parts!

Those are some old solar panels!  Really hate it when POs hack wiring.
You got a lot accomplished in a short time!
