Does the interior wood framing support the body?

Do the interior particians support the body?  A custom interior would be very cool!

Yes, the wood framing supports the body.  There are only 3 (at most) steel supports in the old models (required by law), the early ones had none.

You can easily change the interior layout without worry about structural weakening.  Winnebago made custom built models for various uses, some of which I have seen in person, which have no or almost no rooms or closets and the structural integrity was not compromised.  Like a '73 D27 which was used as a mobile dressing room by a supporting actor.  It only had one long closet on one side.
